LESSONS
Please do not attend lessons if you or your child is sick. You can donate your lesson to a student needing extra lessons, swap with another family, or promote our school by gifting your lesson to a friend or neighbor to try out a class. There will be no refunds issued for a missed class.
If SOA must miss a lesson we will schedule a makeup lesson either as soon as possible or in the week after the semester ends.
After school programming begins at 3:30pm. School release times vary, so tardiness is acceptable, however, please arrive no later than 3:50pm to ensure that your child has enough time for instruction and work time.
Children are to use the studio and materials responsibly and respectful. Any disrespectful, disruptive, or destructive behavior or use o the materials will not be tolerated. The child will be asked to restore their space and leave for the day. An appointment will be made for readmittance into the studio.
For the safety of everyone, children are to remain in the studio unless visiting the restroom. Only one person in the restroom at a time and return immediately to the studio.
Artists that work faster than others will be asked to remain in the studio working respectfully in their art journal.
At the closing of each class, every student will contribute to the cleanup of the studio.
