Creative Movement/Pre-Ballet

Creative Movement: This joyful class introduces young children to movement through music, imaginative play, and age‑appropriate activities. Students explore rhythm, coordination, and basic motor skills while building social skills and confidence. Creative Movement lays the groundwork for future ballet training and prepares young dancers for Pre-Ballet.

Pre-Ballet: This class is for younger ages, 3-4 years old. This class promotes physical and cognitive development, social skills, and encourages confidence. Faculty will lay the core foundations of WTC’s ballet education. Students will develop poise and musicality in a fun and creative environment. This Pre-Ballet work will prepare the dancer for primary 1 classes while adding excitement and movement.

Creative Movement: Age 3 years old

Pre-Ballet: Ages 3-4 years old

This class will expose students ages 3-years-old to 5-years-old to the exciting world of ballet. Classes will be structured around the Cecchetti Primary Syllabus.

Students will have 30/45 mins of ballet for strength and balance, and will begin to learn basic ballet terminology.

Every class ends with the Grande Reverence. A traditional curtsy or bow.
